Nino Bucci reports:
The personal details of children in care, including whether they were sexually active, was accidentally sent to the mother of one of the children in a troubling information breach.
A spreadsheet was emailed to the mother outlining the name, birthdate, location, and specific concerns and alerts relating to all children in the care of a large service provider in a regional Victorian city.
Read more on The Age, although the reporting is quite confusing to me. It appears that this may have been a 2015 breach and the rest of the reporting has nothing really to do with the breach as much as vulnerable children in care. But then it says, “The department is now working with the service provider to address the incident.”
Maybe some reader can de-confuse me.
Anyone think we could keep Lawyers busy for ALONG TIME??
