ITV reports:
A computer hacker who gained access to the Sports Direct website, causing it to shut down for half an hour, has escaped a jail term.
Jason Polyik from Shirebrook in Derbyshire also hacked the website of a second firm between July and September last year.
In both cases, Polyik left his contact details on the website in the hope that the companies would get in touch to offer him a job, but instead, they called the police.
He appeared at Derby Crown Court on Thursday (August 17) and was sentenced to 10 months in prison suspended for a year.
