A British computer hacker who gained unauthorised access to data from US military communication systems has been handed a suspended prison sentence.
Sean Caffrey, 25, admitted an offence under the Computer Misuse Act in June and was today sentenced to 18 months in prison, suspended for the same period.
Birmingham Crown Court heard Caffrey stole usernames and email addresses of over 800 users of a satellite communication system and 30,000 satellite phones.
