Murari Shetye reports:
The state government has not renewed contracts of nine Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) employees as it suspects they were involved in providing departmental information to NGOs and activists. Sources said that of the 13 contract employees, nine have lost their jobs, including three scientific assistants, an accounts clerk, a technical officer, a junior officer, a legal officer and two clerks.
