Friday, November 6, 2020, the systems of the Community of Communes Haute-Ariège (CCHA) were the subject of a general hack. The software and the data were encrypted, “making the whole system unusable for many weeks”, specifies the CCHA.
The perpetrators of the cyberattack then demanded a ransom in order to decrypt this data. A threat to which the Community of Communes did not wish to submit.
