NL: Cyber attack hits IP telephony supplier Innovaphone

Innovaphone, a provider of business IP telephony solutions, has been hit by a hacker. The attacker may have gained access to customer data. The German manufacturer does not believe that this is likely, but it cannot be completely ruled out that this information has fallen into the wrong hands.

Innovaphone thinks the hacker’s motive was vandalism rather than the targeted gathering of information. Nor are there currently any indications that the attacker copied bulky data files from the Innovaphone network.
