PA: Cyber attack affecting Hanover Area

Michael P. Buffer reports:

A cyber attack has impacted Hanover Area School District and some neighboring school districts, Superintendent Nathan Barrett said Tuesday during a virtual school board meeting.

The district experienced intermittent internet issues on Monday and Tuesday, Barrett said. Board President John Mahle contacted the Army National Guard to investigate with its domestic cyber operations division “to identify where the problem points are,” Barrett said.
