From translations of available sources, it appears that the municipality of was paralyzed by a cyber attack on April 7. The municipality estimated that it would take about 14 days to fully restore services.
They do not indicate what kind of ransomware was involved or what demands were made.
Read more on Olomouc.cz. Last April, a hospital in the city had been able to thwart what appeared to be a cyberattack. It is not known whether the attackers in the current situation are the same threat actors that attacked the area in the past.
