The announcement from Energy Hamburg radio was as follows:
On Tuesday evening (May 11, 2021), hackers attacked ENERGY Hamburg and brought important IT areas to a standstill. Since then, our national ENERGY program can be heard on the Hamburg FM frequency of 97.1 MHz, the local DAB+ multiplex and the webcast.
It is not yet clear how long the local Hamburg program will not be available. The Hamburg State Criminal Police Office is already investigating the attack. Servers and PC workstations are affected and data is encrypted as a result of the attack.
