The pandemic was devastating, CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal recovers from computer attack, which slows down operations.
This cyber attack started in late May and we noticed it on June 3rd, Related to the founding Deputy Director General Jean-Francois Fortin Verriolt.Microsoft and the Department of Health’s Cyber Defense team successfully stopped the attackers on June 5. But the system is fragile. The Internet was restarted, but no Internet access was available from hospital computers or from CIUSSS CHSLDs.
