The Jerusalem Post reports:
The Kfar Shaul Mental Health Center in Israel’s capital of Jerusalem was hit with a suspected cyberattack, the Health Ministry said Tuesday.
The ministry’s cyber security department, as well as Israel’s Cyber Authority, are looking into the incident.
The Times of Israel also reports a cyberattack, but says the suspected cyberattack hit “the Eitanim psychiatric hospital near Jerusalem, forcing staff to switch to manual protocols, the Health Ministry said Tuesday.”
Both the Kfar Shaul Mental Health Center and Eitanim hospital are part of the Jerusalem Mental Health Center. It is not clear to DataBreaches whether the ministry was saying two centers were hit or if there was one cyberattack that affected both centers, although the latter seems more likely, and a reliable source tells DataBreaches that yes, the ministry is talking about one organization getting hit.
There are no notices or alerts on the mental health center’s website at this time.
