Pembroke Regional Hospital reported canceling appointments due to service delays from “an incident”

On June 28, Pembroke Regional Hospital issued a press release. The Pembroke Observer reports:

The Pembroke Regional Hospital (PRH) is currently experiencing service delays and has had to cancel certain appointments and procedures as a result of a cybersecurity incident that took place earlier this week.

With the preliminary investigation complete, PRH President and CEO Sabine Mersmann is offering reassurance that patient information does not appear to have been compromised.

There is no information on their website about the incident or any updates, and no updates have been posted on their Facebook page since their June 27 post, reproduced below, which states that they anticipated full restoration would be completed within a week. DataBreaches does not know whether they are still canceling appointments.
