Bloomberg reports:
Louis Vuitton Korea suffered a cyberattack that compromised some customer data, the second time in recent months that hackers have targeted the world’s largest luxury group.
The Korean unit of LVMH’s flagship brand said an “unauthorised third party” accessed its systems on June 8 and some customer information was leaked. No financial data including credit card or bank account details were taken and the security breach has been contained, it said in a statement.

Yonhap News adds that Louis Vuitton Korea’s statement indicated that an unauthorized third party temporarily accessed their system and leaked some customer information. The incident occurred on June 8, but reportedly was not discovered until this week.
This is the third LVMH brand to report a hacking incident in recent months. Dior and Tiffany also reported breaches.
ShinyHunters has been suspected of being the threat actors responsible for the LVMH attacks.
French nationals who were alleged members of ShinyHunters were arrested in France on June 23 and detained (although it seems that police may have arrested the wrong individual in one case and their real suspect may still be at large).
