A follow-up to a case previously reported in Bits ‘n Pieces

An Everett man was sentenced to 40 months in prison Wednesday on federal bank-fraud and identity-theft charges that involved fraudulent use of the identities of about 70 people.
Craig A. Galey, 35, had pleaded guilty to the charges in U.S. District Court in February.

In addition to the prison time, U.S. District Judge Ricardo Martinez sentenced Galey to five years of supervised release and ordered him to pay more than $45,000 in restitution.
