Switzerland’s prosecutor said Thursday an undisclosed person arrested last month as part of an investigation into data allegedly stolen from Swiss bank Credit Suisse Group (CS) was released from custody.
“Our investigation has advanced so well that we released the accused person from custody last Friday,” spokesman Jeannette Balmer said in an emailed statement. She declined further comment due to the ongoing investigation.
Switzerland’s prosecutor is investigating the theft of the data, later sold to German officials.
