Elad Benari reports:
A hackers’ site bearing the name of Hizbullah terrorist Imad Mughniyeh, who was killed in 2008, published on Wednesday databases that were stolen from the Israeli storage company Webgate and which include personal information and credit card numbers of Israelis.
Channel 10 News reported that, in addition to the credit card numbers, photos of checks and photo IDs were published in some cases. The information published is likely real, but the report said that in many cases the credit card numbers that were published are ones that have expired.
The Isracard credit card company said in response, “A file containing 1,500 records was exposed, of which only 49 were identified as active cards belonging to Isracard. The cards were immediately blocked and the customers will be informed tomorrow morning.”
