The FBI is investigating a series of hacks on U.S. news oulets by Cyber Caliphate, a group that claims to be part of ISIS and is planning a series of cyber-attacks on homes and offices across the U.S.
The Albuquerque Journal and Maryland’s WBOC 16‘s Twitter accounts were some of the first to be targeted Tuesday morning.

The hackers took over the news organization’s Twitter handles and posted several confidental documents including driver’s licenses, corrections records and spreadsheets with hundreds of names and addresses.
