Wayne Memorial Hospital fired nurse’s aide who accessed patient records without authorization

PA Homepage reports:

A security breach at the Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale causing concerns. Hospital officials tell Eyewitness News they have fired a nurses’s aide who they say accessed patient records without authorization.

Now letters have been sent out to 390 people informing them their medical records, including social security numbers, insurance information and diagnoses may have been exposed.
