Over on TechDirt, Mike Masnick had the patience to write up and report on some of what I should have written up already, but hadn’t.
Read Mike’s report on how I and others wound up as the targets of a grand jury subpoena on TechDirt.
And if you read carefully, you’ll see that I wound up in the subpoena because someone added me to a list and sent me a smiley emoticon. I was not part of any convo, and I had not tweeted. Nor did I respond to the smiley. And yet the grand jury could then subpoena all of my information from Twitter, it seems.
I’ll have more to say on all this.
F*ck em. Let me know if you need cash for a defense. I’ll help.
…. oh great, now I’ll get a subpoena! 🙂
Actually, I’d get the subpoena – for your details. Or my web host would. And I’d have to fight the subpoena to protect you.
And then..
And then…
LOL
