Crosby ISD officials notified parents and staff that a ransomware virus has infiltrated the district’s IT system.
The district’s IT Department discovered the ransomware virus around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
School officials will have no access to technology, including telephone services until the matter is resolved.
The IT Department said there is no indication of a data breach that would compromise any confidential information.
