Well this is what the Internet is coming to, the governments idea of fighting cyber crime is taking a single person, Joel Tenenbaum to court and making them pay 600K+ for downloading 30 songs. As the reporter in the below video states, everyone has downloaded music and we see that this is just pure overkill. The overall costs of something like this for the governments and court systems and Recording industries which has been out on a mission over the past years to attempt to stop people downloading music of the Internet for free.
