CESICAT (Information Security Center of Catalonia) contacted me this week to share some news and to ask me to share it with my readers and followers on Twitter. I am delighted to.
CESICAT is a public organization committed to protecting cybersecurity of the public sector in Catalonia. Next year they will become the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia.
Every quarter, CESICAT writes a report on main cybersecurity trends, but because their reports are written in Catalan, their distribution has been limited.
Until now.
For the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress 2019, they have published special contents in English: a brief report and a barometer on current major trends in cybersecurity.
The brief report can be downloaded for free here: https://ciberseguretat.gencat.cat/web/.content/PDF/TrendsReportBCNCYBERCON19.pdf
The Barometer can be downloaded for free here: https://ciberseguretat.gencat.cat/web/.content/PDF/Cybersecurity_trends_barometer.pdf
Under Creative Commons, I could just embed the reports here, but that won’t help CESICAT, who want to determine if there is sufficient interest to justify them continuing to develop reports in English.
So… if you are interested and want to encourage them to provide more reports in English in the future, I encourage you to go download their maiden reports and give them some feedback.
I would strongly suggest for the reports to be continued written in English as this will be a great help for those non spanish speaker. Indirectly those reports can expose how Catalan/ spain doing on cybersecurity to other part of the globe.
Thanks
