UK-based cake maker and retailer Cake Box Holdings Plc (CBOX.L) said on Thursday it had informed customers about a data breach in 2020 that might have compromised their personal information.

Somewhat surprisingly in this day and age, Reuters also reported that shares of the stock fell 8%. As we’ve seen over the years, though, most entities’ stock values bounce back relatively quickly. It will be interesting to see the course of this firm’s stock values.
As of the time of this publication, I could not find any statement online that described the 2020 breach.
