NSW Police arrested a man in Fairfield West on May 2 in connection with an alleged data breach that potentially caught out one million club patrons.
Police said a 46-year-old man was taken to Fairfield Police Station where he was expected to be charged with blackmail.

The data breach involved a third-party IT provider called Outabox used by venues such as RSLs and clubs for digital sign-in services.
