IKEA investigating whether employee information was stolen at Pittsylvania Co. plant

IKEA is investigating its factory in Danville after an employee hired to work in human resources gave a fake social security number. The company told WDBJ7 in a statement today that person has been fired. IKEA is providing all employees in Danville with six months of free credit monitoring service as an extra security measure.
