WaMu Investments notifying some clients of missing documents

WaMu Investments is notifying 14 people in New Hampshire and an unknown number of residents of other states that personal documents containing their name, account number, address, estimated annual income and estimated net worth are missing. OR: Sensitive Docs Found In Recycle Bin

KPTV reports that residents of the Spencer House Apartment Complex found hundreds of private documents unshredded in a recycling bin last week. The documents reportedly included Social Security numbers, addresses, phone numbers, immigration numbers and names, bank statements and rental applications. KPTV reports that thousands of documents with credit card receipts exposing full credit card numbers and checks with routing and account numbers were found in a dumpster behind the Brooke Auto Insurance Company. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in November.
