OR: National Guard laptop stolen from car, sensitive personal information at risk

A federal laptop belonging to the Oregon National Guard has been reported stolen from a Guard member’s vehicle, and may contain sensitive personal information concerning military service members. Sony Electronics notified the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office yesterday of a breach involving customer data at a third party service provider, TeleTech. Stolen laptop contained Inovis employee data

As part of a merger, Invois of Alpharetta, Georgia provided GXS with some information on the company. On May 4, a laptop containing Inovis employee data was stolen from a GXS employee. Inovis wasn’t notified of the loss until May 21, however. The firm conducted its own investigation and required GXS to conduct one, too….
