Sharp’s notice can be found on their website. Their report indicates that the attacker only had access for a few hours on January 12. The incident was discovered on January 12.
And yet even though there was only brief access, 62,777 patients need to be notified. As the notice also explain, the incident did not affect all Sharp patients, but only those who paid a bill or invoice using the online bill payment service between Aug. 12, 2021, and Jan. 12, 2023.
