Michael Wittner reports:
A student in the Santa Monica–Malibu Unified School District has been charged with hacking into the school system’s email system around midnight on Friday, according to an email sent by Superintendent Dr. Ben Drati.
Drati reported that the student was able to send messages to the student body for 16 minutes before the district’s technology team discovered the breach and disabled the system.
