Bob Dunn reports:
A U.S. Army recruiting station was burglarized Friday, and a government laptop was stolen, according to a Missouri City Police Department report.
The burglary was reported at about 2 p.m. Friday at the recruiting center, at 3634 Glenn Lakes Lane. According to the police report, the burglar gained entry through an unlocked front door.
Nothing appeared to be missing except the laptop, which was password protected and also had a security card. However, the police report said the security card was in the laptop at the time of the theft.
“Government information” was on the laptop, but a police spokeswoman said the department is unsure of the computer’s contents.
