Furniture mart H.D. Buttercup notified 1,230 customers that their names and credit card numbers and “certain other credit card information” may have been accessed as a result of a security breach.
“certain other credit card information?” That doesn’t sound good.
The letter and notification to the Maryland Attorney General’s Office does not indicate when the breach occurred nor how it occurred.
