The following is a letter from Ridgefield High School Principal Jeff Jaslow and Superintendent Deborah Low, dated June 21, that was dispersed in the high school’s PTSA e-blast on Monday evening.
Dear RHS students and families,
We are sorry to report that recently there was a security breach of our RHS computer system. The students involved in the security breach gained access to a few teachers’ computer records of student information and grades.
We were informed of the breach within two days of its inception. The school administration and district technology staff halted all possible further access. All school computers were checked and the records on those teachers’ computers thoroughly examined. Our assessment at this time suggests that a very limited number of student records were accessed. Those students and their families have been informed directly.
