Police are looking into the theft of personal financial information at Sky Harbor, and all it took for the information to be stolen was a swipe of their credit or debit cards.
So far FOX 10 has confirmed TSA security screeners have been the targets. Their bank accounts were broken into and drained.
Read more on MyFoxPhoenix.com. So far, it sounds like they’re looking for a skimmer in one particular terminal that may have victimized 1-2 dozen employees. Are there no passengers affected? If not, what area(s) do employees have access to that passengers don’t where this could have occurred? Or is it just that passengers are reporting fraud to their banks that are scattered all over and the connection has not yet been made (no pun intended)?
