A hacker who claims to be a Chinese citizen has posted a link on twitter to a pastebin post that claims a hack on USAA.com which is United Services Automobile Association for the military. > The United Services Automobile Association (USAA) is a Texas-based diversified financial services group of companies[3] which includes a Texas Department of Insurance regulated[4] unincorporated, reciprocal inter-insurance exchange and aFortune 500[5] financial services company offering banking, investing, and insurance to people and families that serve, or served, in the United States military.

The announcement was made about an 8 hours ago from the account of Omar Javaid @blksummer and then was further announced 7+hours later with the anonymous tag and a the claim they are "Chinese citizin" > USAA HACKED #alQaeda #opBlackSummer pastebin.com/KZaGiyfc @tn_cyberarmy — Omar Javaid (@blksummer) March 31, 2013

#USAA HACKED for #alQaeda #opBlackSummer #Anonymous. I am Chinese citizin! pastebin.com/KZaGiyfc — Omar Javaid (@blksummer) March 31, 2013

The leak was posted to pastebin and contains no real messages besides two hashtags #opBlackSummer and #alQaeda. usaa-hacked-alqaeda-opblacksummer-pastebin-com_ The leaked data contains what appears to be full personal and financial information for people who have signed up on the site for its services and the details include names, credit card details with card numbers, cvv and what appears to be expiry as well as other information related to the users account and sadly all this has been stored in plain text. The amount of credentials leaked is only small (298) but it still shows that sites holding this information really need to rethink the ways they are handling it.
