Posted on December 4, 2013 by Dissent

A Drew University employee’s e-mail account containing e=mails with personal information on employees and family members/dependents was hacked. The personal information included  names, addresses, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers.

The employee reported the hacked account on October 1, and following forensic investigation and an address search by their print vendor, notifications were sent to New Hampshire and affected individuals on November 21 and 22. Those affected were offered free credit monitoring and restoration services.

You can read the notification to New Hampshire here (pdf).
