A security breach through a third-party software vendor exposed the personal data of 79,000 California State University students at eight campuses, CSU officials said Tuesday.
The CSU Chancellor’s Office in Long Beach said the security breach was discovered Aug. 28. The affected campuses included: Cal State San Bernardino, Cal State Pomona, Cal State L.A., Cal State Northridge, San Diego State, Channel Islands, CSU Maritime Academy and Sonoma State.
