Michael Kan reports:
A Romanian hacker’s claim that he broke into Hillary Clinton’s private email server in 2013 was a lie, according to the FBI.
Marcel Lehel Lazar, also known as Guccifer, has boasted about the breach to various media outlets, saying in May that it had been “easy.”
But on Thursday, FBI director James Comey said that Lazar, who is now in U.S. custody, has admitted the claim was false.

so, was this a free trip to the USA on the governments tab?
Some how I think a gag order is in place. Don’t always believe what your read. It would have been more believable if the email server contents were dumped and then this guy might have had a better bargaining chip.
In any event, the politicians seem to think they are above the law. Careless is quite inadequate. Spies have gone to jail for less. And with as many fingers in the pie(s), classified data could have easily been stolen by anyone who had access to the servers….insiders and hackers.
I refuse to believe any agency speaking as if it was the truth. That just enhances the chances of this country having another four years of a parody of circus clowns in office. Some one that is hell bent on doing it better than my husband is doomed for failure – let them practice that event some where other than assuming the strings of a puppet which they will become.
Another drivel by a partisan hack who is gnashing her teeth over self-devised prevarication. We don’t need to count another four years of anything. We need to cleanse this country from conspiracy theorists who are hell bent in dragging it to oblivion because they couldn’t hack it in real life (no pun intended).
So “easy”! Ya, so easy to lie too.
…at the count of 10 you will remember nothing of this conversation.
