A Toronto Police civilian employee of three years has been charged with two counts of breach of trust.
It is alleged that Erin Maranan, 28, of Thornhill snooped through unauthorized queries of the police database for searches not for official police business.
Maranan allegedly committed these crimes in February 2014 and September 2014.
