The man accused of accessing the customer database of online car-sharing company GoGet is a “self-confessed” computer hacker, a court has heard.
NSW Police have arrested a 37-year-old Illawarra man for allegedly hacking into the database of GoGet.
Police allege the man illegally accessed and downloaded customer information on two occasions, and used it to steal access to vehicles 33 times between May and July last year.
