FR: La Rochelle: the computer networks of the City and the Agglomeration inaccessible due to a cyber attack

Posted on December 28, 2020 by Dissent

On Dec. 18, this site noted that services in Évreux and the agglomeration were shut down after a cyberattack. Today, it’s the computer networks of  La Rochelle and the Agglomeration.  And as with the previous report, city functions have been disrupted.

Are these cities being hit by the same threat actor(s)? If so, who, and how much ransom is being demanded — and what kind of ransomware is it?

You can read more about this newest attack on Franceinfo.

Thanks to @Chum1ng0 who alerts me to these reports.
