National College of Ireland’s IT systems were the victim of a ransomware attack on Saturday, 3rd April. This has resulted in the college suspending access to all NCI IT systems. NCI’s IT team and external service providers are currently working to restore services as soon as possible.

Students with an assignment due over the coming days, please be assured that all faculty have been notified of the disruption and no late penalties will be applied while the outage remains in place.

Due to the circumstances our campus building is currently closed to all students and staff.

We apologise to all users for any inconvenience this may cause and reassure you we are working to restore services. At present we do not have a clear time frame for the full resumption of IT services.

We will post regular updates as soon as they become available.
