Phoenix chiropractic practice offline after ransomware attack

Posted on May 24, 2021October 12, 2024 by Dissent

Spine & Disc Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona is a chiropractic practice. They have apparently been the victims of a ransomware attack by Avaddon threat actors, who added them to their leak site and dumped some data as proof of claims.

It is not clear how much data the threat actors may have exfiltrated. The archived files they dumped as proof contain patient records and some employee information, but no EHR/EMR system or personnel databases.

The practice’s web site has been unreachable for the past few days. DataBreaches.net has reached out by email to request a statement and will update this post if a reply is received.
