AlphV starts to leak MNGI Digestive Health

Posted on October 2, 2023 by Dissent
On September 25, DataBreaches reported that AlphV had claimed to have attacked MNGI Digestive Health.  MNGI never responded to this site’s inquiries at that time or since then.
On September 29, AlphV announced  “TIME IS UP” and leaked more than 800 GB of what they claim is 2+ TB of data they acquired, adding:
Let the world know that you don’t care about the privacy of your customers, partners and employees. A week from now at the same time, we’ll post the rest of the date (sic) with the most sensual data. We’ll also start spamming your patients. Each of them will receive full information about the leak of their data and detailed instructions on how to file a lawsuit. We went the humane side and didn’t encrypt your network. Don’t expect such generosity from us next time. See you soon 😉 Also, in the 21st century, medicine should be free. Profiting from people’s suffering is the same as stealing. But unlike you, at least we don’t hide our true colors.
From their post, the data may have been exfiltrated on August 25.
Attempts by DataBreaches to download the leaked data have been unsuccessful so far.
DataBreaches has reached out to MNGI again after finding that there is still no notice or alert on their site to inform patients. No reply has been received.
