Alleged member of Kelvin Security arrested

World Nation News reports that a member of Kelvin Security has been arrested.

National Police agents have arrested a man for his alleged connection to the Kelvin Security hacktivist group.

The police operation, carried out by agents from the General Information Commission (CGI), has the collaboration of the Alicante Provincial Information Brigade and is coordinated by the Alicante Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the news story, an investigation into the group’s recent attack on an energy company enabled investigators to identify the person who has been arrested. He was not named, but was described as being a citizen of Venezuela who was the main person responsible for money laundering for the group through cryptocurrency exchanges.

During the arrest, the prisoner’s house was searched, where many effects and technical support were seized. He was placed at the disposal of the head of the Court of Instruction number Seven of Alicante in the duty of guard, which ordered his entry into prison.

Se dedican a explotar vulnerabilidades de entidades estratégicas para, una vez producida la intrusión, obtener credenciales de acceso y extraer información confidencial que posteriormente venden, a través de foros criminales de la Dark Web.
