“Sadly for the feds I have not been arrested” – RansomedVC

Posted on July 2, 2024 by Dissent

The man known as “Kmeta,” “Impotent,” “RansomedVC,” and other monikers says he is not “Emil Kyulev” and has not been arrested.

On June 30, DataBreaches reported on the arrest of a 21-year-old Bulgarian man, Teodor Iliev, who is accused of being the threat actor known as “Emil Külev” (“Emil Kyulev”).

DataBreaches subsequently noted some confusion by others as to whether Iliev is also the individual known as “Impotent,” “Kmeta,” and “RansomedVC,” and responded to those asking that no, Iliev is not “Impotent” a/k/a “Kmeta” a/k/a “RansomedVC.” Now he has issued a statement to make it clear that he is not Teodor Iliev.

Before posting his statement, DataBreaches notes that Iliev was denied bond and is still in custody. DataBreaches has heard from “Kmeta” multiple times in the past few days when this site contacted him to ask about Kyulev and the arrest.

Teodor Iliev, accused of being the hacker known as “Emil Kyulev,” in court on June 30, 2024.
Iliev was escorted by armed guards. He was denied bond and remains in detention.

Here is Kmeta’s unedited statement, as he posted it on a Russian-language forum under the username RanSupp:

Hello Dear People of bf and all other communities i have been in,
As you know me probably under a few different monikers lol, i been important part of the work in certain fields, there is now the rumour that i have been arrested and detained ( rumours were started as safety concern from bratva which i pretty much approve to be done) Sadly for the feds i have not been arrested. the arrested person is the owner of magadans (Emil Kyulev owner of magadans.net) now there is the raising question, why people think i am him? from the country where i am from there are not many people who are actively seeking media attention and using it for their work, so people naturally thought after ransomedvc shined up its a project he performs. Which is very far from the truth. We had “partnership” on 2 breaches that i would disclose for the public now, one of them was I and G brokers which was posted on my website ransomed.vc and DallBogg Insurance. I had reached out to him because his good work with systems that insurance companies use. Now he is arrested he does not count as a threat to me or my partners.

for anyone that doubts its really me behind the IM accounts we write on, please ask me about anything important that me and you have written, no matter if you wrote it with Kmeta,Impotent,Ransomedvc or any other moniker i have used, of course i probably wont remember the exact dateof when you put a banana in your ass but for the important stufff i have pretty good memory.

I do not wanna make comments on the arrest because i deeply do not care about if its really magadans or not the one arrested. i wont profit from knowing the truth so yeah useless for me.

All old projects have been permanently closed like you already know, the old accounts are not in use.
for public contact that i pretty much would have wanted to avoid but due to the recent circumstances i sadly have to do, you can contact me on t.me/BalkanPartyClub, please for your own safety verify its me by any way you want.

Remember its YOUR responsability to keep yourself safe, not mine.
