The Free Press Journal reports:
Three days after registrar RD Musalgaonkar’s e-mail was allegedly hacked and a letter seeking votes for Congress candidate for Indore mayor’s post – Archana Jaiswal – was sent through it to college principals, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) computer experts traced the terminal used in the malicious act. It’s one of the computers of IT Centre (Applications) of the university located on the UTD [University Teaching Department ] campus.
The experts also discovered ‘the user ID’ which was used to access the university’s internet facility and commit the crime but they are not sure if the person using the ID is the criminal.
