A college drop out in a remote corner of Telangana has sent shock waves in the state government. P Santosh Kumar, who didn’t complete his BSc degree, managed to illegally download Aadhar details of thousands of people.
The ease with which Kumar downloaded the details puts a huge question mark on data security on government websites.
Kumar, a distributor of pre-paid Vodafone SIM cards in Dharmaram (Peddapally district), forged signatures of nearly 3,000 people to activate SIM cards through eKYC system.
