Although we have found no evidence that any information has been specifically accessed for misuse, it is possible that the potentially impacted individuals’ name, mailing address, date of birth, Social Security Number, and/or protected health information (i.e. radiology procedure code or radiology procedure code description) may have been exposed as a result of the incident.
To date, they write, there have not been any reports of related identity theft or misuse of any patient information. They do not indicate whether this was a ransomware incident or not.
A more detailed version of their website notification was provided to the Montana Attorney General’s Office.
As of the time of this publication, there is no listing for the incident on HHS’s public breach tool. This post will be updated if and when it is added.
