Laura Gutschke reports:
Hendrick Health System on Friday began notifying patients that some identifying information may have been compromised during a network security breach identified Nov. 20.
An investigation determined that patient information may have been accessible between Oct. 10 and Nov. 9, the release said, including patient names, Social Security numbers, demographic and other limited information about care provided by Hendrick.
“Patient electronic health records were not impacted,” the release said.
The breach disrupted computer operations at Hendrick Medical Center and Hendrick Clinic. Records at Hendrick Medical Center South and Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood were not affected, the release said.

Hendrick had first disclosed the attack in a notice on their site back in November. It has not yet appeared on HHS’s breach tool yet. The attack has not appeared on any of the leak sites operated by ransomware teams.
