A man who worked at a Florida resort received a time-served jail sentence for stealing the identities of more than 100 vacationers, including some from Collegeville and West Norriton, and using the credit card information to pay for his own trips.
Carlos Raynard Roberts, 22, who worked as a booking agent at the Fountain Beach Resort in Daytona Beach, Fla., was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to one year and 11 days already served to 23 months in jail after he pleaded guilty to felony charges of identity theft and theft by deception in connection with incidents that occurred between May and October of 2008.
